General assembly of the student body

General assembly

The general assembly of the student body is an integral part at which all matriculated students of the TU Brunswick have the right to speak, to file applications and to vote. It decides upon applications and recommendations to other parts of the student body and has a quorum if 5 % of all matriculated students of the TU Brunswick are present. Decisions of the general assembly have to be discussed at the next meeting of the committee in question.

The general assembly is convened and lead by the steering committee of the student parliament. The general assembly takes place at least once per semester. An extraordinary general assembly can be demanded via a written application by at least 100 matriculated students giving their matriculation number.
