Quick Facts

Since January 2025, I have been working on the AngryWaters project, which focuses in particular on scaling issues in hydraulic testing. Using the example of multi-physical processes of rigid, flexible, and collapsing buildings as well as the transport of debris, a multitude of challenges of varying scales are already becoming apparent. This area of research ties in directly with the work I did during my PhD in the CollStruct project. Previously, between July 2021 and December 2024, I worked on the EnviSim4Mare project, investigating the hydrodynamic loads resulting from marine growth on the supporting structures of offshore wind turbines, in particular conducting and analyzing experimental investigations in the 2m flume and the saltwater wave current flume.Since 07/2021 I am working in the project EnviSim4Mare on investigations of hydrodynamic loads due to marine fouling on support structures of offshore wind turbines.
