Anđelija Pavlović holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, where she studied at the Department of Transportation Engineering. She completed her Master’s degree in 2024 and received an award for the best thesis in her module for the academic year 2024/25. Her work focused on the use of geosynthetics in road construction on soils with low bearing capacity, including numerical modeling using the finite element method (FEM).
Since July 2025, she has been a research associate at the Institute of Pavement Engineering (ISBS) at TU Braunschweig, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Michael P. Wistuba. Under his supervision, the focus of her research is on the chemical and rheological characterization of bio-based asphalt binders, based on analyses performed using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and the Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR).
