Technology Assessment

The seminar Technology Assessment (Technikfolgenbewertung) is offered jointly with the elenia Institute for High Voltage Technology and Energy Systems. The energy and mobility transition offer great potential for limiting climate change. How can the opportunities of new technologies be used to solve societal problems without taking considerable risks and side effects?

Technology assessment is based on the systematic analysis and evaluation of the effects of technologies on society. The Institute of Neuromorphic Computing contributes the perspective of microelectronics and AI hardware, for example the energy demand and supply chains of modern semiconductor technologies.
