Cardinality Bounds at the Interference Channel with Entangled Transmitters: Quantum entanglement has emerged as a valuable resource in communication networks. Even in the classical two-sender, two-receiver interference channel, the achievable rates can be significantly enhanced by exploiting shared entanglement between the transmitters. The resulting rate region, however, is described using auxiliary variables whose cardinalities are unbounded.
The objective of this thesis is to study bounding techniques for such auxiliary variables in the presence of entanglement and to apply them to the interference channel, with the goal of deriving the cardinality bounds.
