For Students

Become the Most Valuable Player and develop a Minimum Viable Product with Real-World Relevance

MVP Program of the Institute for Marketing & Innovation and further Institutes of the Department of Business Science.

Practical Projects lead to Opportunities. Students become Most Valuable Players.

Powered by ReTraSON.

What is it about?

Do you want to do an internship where you can really make a difference, rather than just tagging along? Then the MVP Program is the perfect fit for you. The Department combines innovative business management approaches in research and teaching with active collaboration with companies, and aims to empower students to think in a market-oriented way, design customer-centric innovations, and take on entrepreneurial responsibility.

What does MVP stand for?

In the program, MVP has a double meaning:

  • Most Valuable Player – the person who stands out through competence, initiative, and impact.

  • Minimum Viable Product – a first actionable solution, a prototype, a concept, or a validatable approach to a real challenge within a company.

This connection is what defines the program: you grow personally while simultaneously working toward a tangible outcome.

How does the Program work?

As part of your mandatory internship, you work within a company on a concrete MVP. You tackle a real-world problem and develop it into a first robust solution. The results of the various MVP projects will then be presented in a shared format to practitioners and chairs. This will make your work visible, connectable, and part of a larger network connecting the university and the professional world.

Who is the Program designed for?

At launch, the program is primarily aimed at students of Technische Universität Braunschweig from the following degree programs:

  • Technology-oriented Management

  • Industrial Engineering and Management

  • Business Information Systems

If you are eager to take on responsibility, learn in real-world contexts, and bring your ideas to life, this program is the right place for you.

What's in it for you?

The MVP Program offers you more than a traditional internship:

  • Hands-on work on a real challenge

  • Visible results instead of pure support work

  • Direct exchange with companies and academia

  • Strengthening your profile for career entry and advancement

  • Opportunity to build connections for thesis projects, collaborations, or future jobs

In the MVP Program, you don't just gain experience — you show what you're made of. You work on solutions with real relevance, present your results to key stakeholders, and develop step by step into what MVP also stands for: a Most Valuable Player.

Make the most of your Internship!

Use your mandatory internship to make an impact, build connections, and sharpen your profile.
