For Businesses

Developing Talent. Testing Innovations. Building Collaboration with Academia.

MVP Program of the Institute for Marketing & Innovation and further Institutes of the Department of Business Science.

Bringing Academia and Practice into Motion — Together.

Powered by ReTraSON.

What is it about?

The MVP Program brings academia and practice together in a concrete, results-oriented format. The Department stands for market-oriented thinking, customer-centric innovations, and the active exchange between business and academia.

At the heart of the program are students who work on a concrete MVP within a company as part of their mandatory internship.

MVP stands for:

  • Minimum Viable Product – a tangible concept, a pilot, a prototype, or a validatable solution approach that students develop within the company.

  • Most Valuable Player – the role that students can grow into over the course of their career.

The results developed during the internship are subsequently presented, discussed, and further developed in a shared format with company representatives and chairs.

Your Added Value as a Practice Partner

With the MVP Program, you gain access to motivated talent, fresh perspectives, and academic connectivity:

  • Working on concrete challenges from your company context

  • Fresh ideas and analytical perspectives through high-performing students

  • Early contact with potential future employees

  • Visibility at Technische Universität Braunschweig among relevant target groups

  • Access to further collaborations with academia

From Internship to Strategic Collaboration

The internship is intentionally just the starting point. A further goal of the program is to develop lasting collaborations out of initial joint projects — for example in the form of:

  • Industry projects

  • Third-party funding and grant projects

  • Research collaborations

  • Joint innovation initiatives

This way, a student pilot project becomes a solid foundation for deeper collaboration.

Which companies might be interested in this Program?

The MVP Program is aimed at companies that want to tackle real challenges with engaged talent and actively shape the exchange with academia.

Target group of students

At launch, the program primarily addresses students from the following degree programs:

  • Technology-oriented Management

  • Industrial Engineering and Management

  • Business Information Systems

Invitation to Participate

Would you like to propose a research topic, offer internship positions, or develop a pilot project into a long-term collaboration? We look forward to hearing from you.
