In the area of "interdisciplinary qualification", students choose between an industrial placement or a team project. In both cases, this is an ungraded piece of coursework in which a total of 8 LPs are earned.

Up to six weeks can be credited in the industrial internship. The team project should be carried out in groups of at least three students who work together on a superordinate topic. It should be carried out during the semester and is usually limited to one semester.
