This course provides an introduction to the basics of pharmaceutical law. Emphasis is placed on on Medicines Law, the Ordinance on the Operation of Pharmacies and on the German pharmaceutical law within European law. Moreover, the opportunity is given to learn more about the practice of the regulation of medicines from experts and to discuss the political and social conditions drug development in Germany. Further external speakers can be invited, if there is interest.
The lecture "Pharmaceutical Law / Special areas of law for pharmacists" will be offered for students of pharmacy in their seventh or eighth semester. Students of other courses can participate after consultation with Prof. Dr. Wahrig.
