International Conference on Operations Research in Hamburg

[L.-M. Manke, T. Niemann, R. Marx, A. M. Tillmann, I. Joormann]

Last week, members of the Institute attended the annual conference of the Society for Operations Research in Germany.

In the course of the conference, several group members were allowed to give talks on current research topics. Tim Niemann gave a talk on "General Polyhedral Approximation of Two-Stage Robust Linear Programming", Rebecca Marx spoke on "Optimization under Controllable Uncertainty" and Lisa-Marie Manke presented "Hydrogen-powered aviation: An optimization approach deciding on where to incorporate Hydrogen into the air traffic sector". We are happy about the newly gained insights and established contacts.
