Are you new to the TU Braunschweig or just want to meet people from different degree programs? Then this playful event is the place for you! The Media Lab invites you to a relaxing evening with both analog and digital games — perfect for striking up conversations, exchanging laughs, and making new connections. All are welcome, whether you've just started studying or have been here for a few semesters!
There's something for everyone at game night, from classic board games like Ludo and Checkers to card games like UNO Flip and UNO Show 'em No Mercy. If you want to play in a larger group, we also offer Werewolf for those who enjoy engaging in discussions, detective work, and creating mischief among others. Alternatively, you can try your luck at a relaxed game of Poker (without real money, of course). In addition to analog games, you can enjoy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Mario Party on our two Nintendo Switch consoles.
You are also welcome to bring your own favorite analog games — we welcome any new game ideas! And if you have any requests or suggestions for future game nights, please let us know — we are happy to take feedback on site! You may find the complete list of our games at the bottom of the page.
Registration for the game night is not necessary. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of 40 people can participate at the same time.
Starting on October 9, 2025, you can reserve a spot for the game night via Stud.IP. Those who have reserved a spot via Stud.IP can confirm their reservation on site between 5 and 7 p.m. and secure a spot for the entire evening. Reservations not claimed by 7 p.m. will be forfeited to allow spontaneous visitors access as well.
From 7 p.m. onwards, all available spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
