The project teach4waste - International e-learning Platform for Waste and Resource Management - aims to build an e-learning platform with clear learning and teaching materials for sustainable waste management with international application.
The foundation stone has already been laid by means of previous funding, so the focus is now on internationalisation. This primarily includes the translation of existing materials into English and the translation of selected materials into Portuguese. Furthermore, region-specific features are being prepared for the teaching units in close cooperation with international partners.
The learning and teaching materials always include an online text with links to explanations of terms and interfaces to further subject areas, a downloadable print version of this online text and extensive lecture slides on the respective subject areas. In addition, interactive units such as illustrations, animations, videos or quizzes are integrated into the online text where possible.
