The digital transformation of business models and business relationships is associated with a multitude of digital solutions.
Those digital solutions are intended, among other things, to support a more robust design of value chains and networks. A major challenge in global competition is the speed of implementation of the digital transformation and, in particular, the use of existing company resources and the qualification of employees. To ensure that the digital transformation is deployed at the interfaces to other companies, cross-company networking of employees and their training is essential. In this context, the ROBUST project is researching fundamental interrelationships in complex value networks as well as specialist and methodological competencies to enable employees to act across company boundaries and to respond to or bring about change.
