The project analyzes social concerns about virtual validation methods for autonomous systems. The focus is on the investigation of acceptance patterns and the identification of central reasons for skepticism with regard to reliability, transparency and regulation.
The objective of the present project is twofold: first, to identify the key barriers to acceptance of virtual validation through empirical analyses, and second, to develop effective strategies to promote trust and acceptance. This should establish a solid foundation for the sustainable enhancement of the social and regulatory recognition of virtual validation methods for autonomous systems.
