In our research group, we design and conduct high-quality experiments on airfoils, aircraft components and generic configurations. We particularly focus on developing and applying methods to manipulate flows in a desired way, such as influencing and/or suppressing turbulent separation to increase lift and reduce drag, and influencing the laminar-turbulent transition.
