Flow Physics of Load Reduction

This research area focuses on the field of aerodynamics, flow control methods and load reduction for aerial vehicles. This involves studies with experimental methods such as wind tunnel tests with optical flow measurements and artificially generated gusts, as well as numerical simulations based on RANS or hybrid RANS/LES methods.
