The event teaches participants about the key global challenges facing the production of cars in Germany and Europe. Using the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg as an example, it shows how a customer order is planned in the plant and how a factory is managed. This will provide an understanding of
the process chain of automotive production and show how individual trades are used operationally in the process. In addition to the respective basics, current and future technologies associated with digitalization and sustainability will be discussed. Participants will be able to describe the planning steps for the integration of a new vehicle project and gain in-depth knowledge of how to improve production in series operation.
Further information on the course schedule can be found on the Stud.IP course page.
The course takes place as a block course on individual dates in the winter semester.
