UAV Workshop
In best flying weather, Dr.-Ing. Ahmed Almouri gave an internal workshop on data acquisition with drones for all colleagues at IGP on 23.10.2023. The workshop took place in the context of the institute's Geo-working group and offered insights into the complexity and opportunities of data acquisition using drones. After a short theoretical introduction, different drone models were presented and then the first drone took off from Campus Nord. In a second workshop, the focus is on the preparation and further processing of the captured image data.

Geomonitoring 2024 in Braunschweig
Call for papers
Since 2011, the conference series "Geomonitoring" has been hosted jointly by TU Clausthal, LU Hannover and TU Braunschweig, alternating between the respective locations. The next conference location will be Braunschweig again: on 29.2. and 1.3. 2024 we will meet at Campus Nord to discuss current developments and issues around the monitoring of geometric changes of natural and man-made objects in the (human-influenced) system Earth.
We invite all colleagues to present their own work. Presentations will be registered on an abstract basis. Afterwards there will be the possibility to submit the papers to scientific journals.
We welcome presentations on satellite- and ground-based radar interferometry, on applications of terrestrial or airborne sensors and sensor networks, and on the analysis and modeling of the deformation behavior of geotechnical objects as well as structures and infrastructure facilities.
For more information on the registration process, including poster or company registrations, please visit our website. Under the menu item „Tagungen“ you will also find the lecture programs of the last years.
Further information can be found in this PDF flyer.
The documentation and conference language is predominantly German, but contributions in English are welcome as well.
We are looking forward to your contributions and two exciting days in Braunschweig.
