Seminar on Communications Technology

Within the study seminar for communications technology, current topics in communications technology are presented by students in the form of oral presentations. Each oral presentation is supervised by a research assistant of the institute who is the contact person for questions and assists in the preparation of the oral presentation.

Details:

Time: Thursday 16:00-18:00, there are 6 dates per semester. These are announced in the Stud.IP (Course: Studienseminar für Nachrichtentechnik (2013)).
Location: SN 22.2

Start date: please refer to the announcements in the Stud.IP There will be a kick-off event.
Language: German (oral presentations in English are possible)

Selection of Topics and Registration

A preliminary seminar discussion, during which the topics will be presented, will take place on 03.04.2025 at 16:00 in SN22.1.

  • In advance, these can already be viewed in the Stud.IP and here.

If you are not able to attend this event, there is the possibility to inform yourself about the topics with the respective supervisor.


You can register after the kick-off (03.04.2025) via e-mail (see the Stud.IP for further information) to Mrs. Kaib (tanja.kaib(at)tu-bs.de) with cc to Patrick Blumenberg (patrick.blumenberg(at)tu-bs.de) until monday, 07.04.2025. 

For registration it is mandatory to supply the following information:

- primary topic request
- secondary topic request
- first name, last name
- matriculation number
- degree program (field of study, as well as bachelor or master program)
- e-mail-adress given by the university

Only for students of Computer Science, Business Informatics and CSE:

Registration is via Stud.IP via the allocation procedure of the computer science faculty, please consider the following information beforehand (see B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses). There are 6 seminar places available and a written report of 15 pages is mandatory.

If all seminar places are already occupied, you have the possibility to be register on a waiting list. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as a seminar place has become available.
