Graduate Academy GradTUBS

PhD projects are challenging. Grad^TUBS graduate academy offers all PhD candidates of Technische Universität Braunschweig and Braunschweig University of Art (HBK)  support as they work towards their PhD degree in the form of interesting events and training courses tailored to specific groups.

The main cornerstone of Grad^TUBS is a comprehensive range of courses for developing key skills relevant to the chosen career. The PhD researchers can choose between various offers from the categories of communication, careers and prospects, organization and management, skills for scientific research, software skills and networking in German or English. In addition, the coaching programme module helps participants analyse their own strengths and develop a long-term career strategy.

In addition, the Grad^TUBS research diary offers support in structuring your own doctoral process and reflecting on it through guiding questions. It contains many science-based tips and hints. The research diary can be picked up in printed form from the Graduate Academy by arrangement, while stocks last, or downloaded here. 

Another task of the Grad^TUBS is the promotion of collegial exchanges, which enable PhD researchers to obtain continuous feedback on their progress. Moreover, exchange between science and practice is increased through networking with regional and trans-regional businesses.
