New members of our institute

Abbas Mehraban and Valentin Berman reinforce Prof. Terörde's team.

As a research associate, Abbas Mehraban is developing a health monitoring system for future aircraft as part of the project SE²A. He is also actively supporting the operation of a hardware-in-the-loop system in the ETHAN project. Before joining our institute, he was a researcher at Shiraz University in Iran, where he worked on advanced power management systems with flywheel storage for electric vehicles.

Valentin Berman, originally from Argentina, has almost completed his degree in electrical engineering, specialising in electronics. As a DAAD scholarship holder, he is enriching our institute for one semester. His work focuses on the calculation of typical gravimetric energy and power densities from various aircraft models. This data is crucial for higher-level optimisation processes in the aerospace sector.
