Computer and Communication Systems Engineering (Bachelor)

Where there was once a need for hardware, more and more functions in modern technical systems can now be carried out using microprocessors and the corresponding software.

Microcomputers in technical systems are invisible to the user, and these embedded systems and their complex software have little in common with conventional personal computers.

Knowledge of software alone is not enough to understand and design these systems, you also need a solid education in engineering. In the Computer and Communication Systems Engineering degree programme, you will receive the right training.

In this programme, you will combine knowledge from computer science and electrical engineering in order to exploit the potential of embedded systems in a meaningful way. Consistently interdisciplinary in their approach, both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes take into account requirements from the real world going beyond pure knowledge transfer.

Today, large companies operate globally, research projects are carried out in international teams and specialised literature is written in English.
