Clausthal University of Technology is a research-focused university with outstanding national and international networking shaped by its location in the diverse landscape of the Harz mountains in the middle of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, science works closely with business and industry, bridging the gap between basic research and application in a strategic focus on the Circular Economy and a contribution to the development of a sustainable industrial society in the digital age. The close link between material and process knowledge as well as expertise in digitization facilitate a significant contribution to the implementation of the Circular Economy.
