Our role in the research alliances

NFF | Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen

The Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFF) bundles the research activities around the topic of mobility in Niedersachsen. Together with the Chair of Production and Logistics, we take over the management of the cross-sectional research field "Mobility Management and Logistics". In terms of content, the research field focuses on established and innovative mobility concepts that address classic mobility and logistics needs and combine them with new mobility-related services. Based on changing mobility and logistics needs, innovative concepts for individualised and safe passenger and freight transport are developed in the form of services and business models that meet technical, ecological and economic requirements at any time and in any place. On this basis, framework conditions for sustainable mobility are created.

EIT | EIT Urban Mobility

As part of the NFF, we are a member of the EIT Urban Mobility and are working on service concepts for the urban mobility of the future. The European funding programme EIT Urban Mobility focuses on the change in mobility with the aim of making urban space a better place to live. We develop and test technology-based innovations in interdisciplinary teams. The focus is on customer benefits and benefits for society. Further information about our projects will soon be available here.

ZDIN | Future Lab Mobility

In the Future Lab Mobility we work with research and practice partners from Lower Saxony on the mobility challenges in our region. The proposed project for the establishment of a Future Lab Mobility focuses on application-oriented research on the use of technologies. In four interdisciplinary fields, research is being carried out into the potential of networking systems, users and infrastructure through digitisation for the realisation of customer-oriented as well as environmentally and socially compatible mobility solutions. The research is oriented towards concrete (Lower Saxony) applications of future mobility and is intended to produce methods and approaches for the rapid transfer of innovative mobility solutions.

CSMR | Center of Sport Marketing Research

In the Center of Sport Marketing Research we bundle our research activities on brand management in sport and on the conception, testing and impact measurement of sponsoring measures. Since 2012, we have published the brands of the 36 1st and 2nd Bundesliga football clubs annually. In cooperation with international research and practice partners, we investigate success factors of sponsorship activation and examine the influence of management on sponsorship success.
