As part of the lecture series “Braunschweig Seminar on Economics, Politics & Practice,” another interesting lecture took place on January 8, 2026, at the House of Science. The speaker was Prof. Dr. habil. Michael Broer from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences (Wolfsburg). He spoke on the topic of “Political reform (un)willingness against the backdrop of the financial situation of public budgets and demographic developments.” It was a successful evening with lively discussions and around 50 guests.
