Prof. Dr. Felix Rösel (Technical University of Braunschweig) and Mona Foertsch (ifo Institute Dresden) have published the article “How contagious are health shocks on political outcomes? Evidence from the 1918 Spanish flu in Germany” in the journal "Papers in Regional Science". The paper examines whether and how health crises affect politics.
