Students at TU Braunschweig regularly organize large events and projects, thereby driving important sustainability transformations. Many of them volunteer in this area and contribute their ideas to initiatives and campaigns. In addition, TU Braunschweig itself offers various support services specifically tailored to students who want to get involved in sustainability.
The Sandkasten platform is for anyone interested in making life on campus and in the city even more livable and sustainable. All students can submit ideas and implement them themselves. The Knowledge Transfer team supports student projects related to sustainability with funding and project coaching. Nothing good happens unless you do it!
The General Student Committee, in German AStA for short, represents the political and social interests of students. Environmental protection and climate change as important issues are no exception. Individual students with concerns or suggestions on how to make the campus "greener" or more sustainable, sometimes face difficulties on their own. This is where students can turn to the AStA Ecology Department.
