The Informations- und Beratungsstelle "Studium und Behinderung" – IBS ("Studying with Disabilities" – Information and Advice centre) is the national competence centre on studying with disabilities. IBS was founded 1982 by the German Association of Student Services Organisations (then: Deutsches Studentenwerk, today: Deutsches Studierendenwerk). It is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung).

We especially recommend the following information offered by IBS:
