What is sexual harassment

Sexual harassment at the study and workplace is any sexually motivated behavior that violates the dignity of people. Sexual harassment can include intimidation, hostility, humiliation, or insults.

These include:

  •     sexual innuendo, obscene words or gestures
  •     obtrusive, unpleasant looks
  •     unsolicited letters or emails with sexual content
  •     showing or sending unwanted pictures or videos with pornographic content
  •     re-enactment or stalking
  •     sexualized touches
  •     the threat of sexual violence
  •     sexual assaults

Sexual discrimination is the verbal or non-verbal degradation of a person or a group of persons on the basis of their gender, such as the general devaluation of a person on the basis of gender.

Sexual violence encompasses all forms of

  •     unwanted sexual advances and body contacts
  •     exhibitionist acts
  •     coercion into sexual practices, including rape
