Psychological health has gained importance in modern working environments. For example, absenteeism caused by psychological illness is increasing (DAK-Gesundheit, 2019) and employers have to fulfill legal requirements (§§ 4, 5 ArbSchG) to take care of their employees’ psychological health. Our research focusses on ways of promoting health at work on the one hand and for possible barriers to a healthy workplace on the other hand. To do so, we take a look at positive psychological resources and intervention concepts. Thereby, we take a look at the resources that lie within a person (e.g. individual resilience) and those that come from a person’s surroundings (e.g. social support or mindfulness in the team).
