Digitization

The digital change in society and economy is also an important topic for our research. The change from an industrial age to a digital age that promotes knowledge and creativity also concerns humans (at their workplace).

Therefore, our research investigates questions concerning change  and transformation processes: Which digitization competences are important? How should competences, motivation and new behavior be implemented in human resource development? How can a change in organizational culture can be successful? Which evidence-based interventions can be used by teams in order work together virtually, collaboratively, self-regulated and innovatively?

Current and concluded projects:

  • 2018-2020: German Research Foundation (DFG) - project "TeamDynamics", in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Kurt Schneider, department Software Engineering, Leibniz Universität Hannover.

  • 2018-2019: Work Design and Communication in Virtual Teams (DAAD)
