During the winter semester of 2023, a circle of staff members with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) from all faculties and other organizational units met under the leadership of the Vice President for Digitalization and Sustainability to discuss and identify the expected medium- and long-term impacts of AI on all aspects of TU Braunschweig’s operations.

The goal was to assess the likely impacts of AI on TU Braunschweig (opportunities and risks) and to develop initial measures based on a consensus among all circle participants.

After an in-depth examination of the topic, the circle team drafted a recommendation paper and presented it to the Senate. The paper is intended to serve as a basis for TU Braunschweig’s governing bodies to continue addressing the topic on an ongoing basis in the future.
