The Project House Labs consist of interdisciplinary, cross-departmental, and agile teams that specifically bring together diverse expertise and perspectives to enable and drive innovation across all areas of TU Braunschweig’s operations.

The Labs analyze, network, and pilot initiatives, always in close collaboration with various university units and stakeholders. In this way, they strengthen the innovative capacity and visibility of TU Braunschweig, productively address current challenges, and contribute to a future-oriented, competitive educational offering at TU Braunschweig.
This lab is currently being established. More information will follow shortly.
As part of the joint collaborative project Co³Learn, the Technical University of Braunschweig, Leibniz University Hannover, and Georg-August University of Göttingen are developing a digital toolbox for collaborative learning and the creation of educational content. The tools will be made available on platforms such as Stud.IP and the Academic Cloud.
The project is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education.
Identifying and harnessing future technologies for teaching and learning at an early stage
The Emerging Tech Lab identifies and evaluates new technologies with regard to their potential for teaching and learning. It supports universities in Lower Saxony by providing well-founded guidance to help them leverage technological developments at an early stage and drive educational innovation in a targeted manner.
The Excellence Lab (ExLab) conducts cross-departmental analyses, pilot projects, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to identify and establish innovative approaches to the holistic development of TU Braunschweig.

The International Teaching Lab aims to promote the internationalization of teaching at the University of Braunschweig across all degree programs. We provide long-term support to help the University of Braunschweig further increase its level of internationalization by offering an attractive range of degree programs.
The Lab for Innovative Program Development (LISe) aims to continuously improve the academic offerings at TU Braunschweig and supports academic programs in designing curricula that are quality-assured, pedagogically sound, and forward-looking.
Teaching and learning are always shaped by media technology. The Media Lab identifies media technologies and products available on the market in order to test and evaluate them for the university. Building on this, the Media Lab develops best practices and disseminates them throughout TU Braunschweig.

The Science and Art Lab fosters encounters between science and art on equal footing. The goal is to initiate a critical and constructive dialogue between these fields on processes of social transformation and to actively engage the public in this dialogue.
