Name: Lab for Innovative Curriculum Development (LISe)
Duration: January 25, 2024, through the end of 2027 (expected)
Funding Body: Vice President for Academic Affairs
Core Team of the Lab: Dr. Pamela Bogdanow, Malu Amanda Lenk Barbosa, Jule Bozin, Dr. Sophie Domann, Jana Marquardt, Jasmin Piep, and Anna Scarcella
The establishment of the Lab has created a space that initiates and accelerates processes of degree program and curriculum development, while creating opportunities for the optimal alignment of degree programs at TU Braunschweig. As part of the implementation of the new accreditation process (system accreditation) at TU Braunschweig, the Lab directly influences the development of new structures and processes for designing future-oriented, quality-assured, and attractive degree programs and offers opportunities to transfer best practices to the faculties.
The composition of the Lab team specifically leverages synergies between Department 16—which oversees the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Teaching and supports internal accreditation procedures—and theProject House. Through our collaboration with the respective faculties, new ideas and an effective integration of innovative teaching and learning content, scenarios, and assessment methods can be incorporated into the development or enhancement of degree programs.
We support those involved in program development processes through various initiatives and offerings (e.g., consulting, workshops, events).
