Bastian Kindermann is Professor of Business Creation & Succession at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. After graduating from the University of Cambridge (UK), he gained practical experiences in the South American retail sector (Chile) and then completed his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University. Research and teaching stays led him to the University of St. Andrews (UK), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), Case Western Reserve University (USA), and Chulalongkorn University (Thailand). In his research, he explores topics related to digitalization, entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, and strategy. Bastian’s research has been published in various leading outlets, including Information and Organization, Journal of Marketing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Research, European Management Journal and Business Strategy and the Environment.
