‘To boldly go’ establishes transformation literacy as a core principle of teacher training at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. The aim is to enable trainee teachers to understand societal transformation processes – such as climate change, digitalisation and social polarisation – from a scientific perspective and to shape them responsibly. The Media Lab is implementing a digital platform for international networking as part of the project. In an educational landscape characterised by digitalisation, mobility and interdisciplinarity, learning can no longer be confined to clearly defined locations. Learning takes place wherever communicative, cognitive and social processes intertwine.
