Course Content

  • Introduction: Fundamentals of fluid mechanics and aerodynamics, bluff bodies, separation and recirculation zones, ground effect
  • Influence of aerodynamics on stability, single track model
  • Fundamentals of race car aerodynamics
  • Methods for numerical simulation of road vehicle aerodynamics
  • Experimental methods for road vehicle testing
