Indefinite Systems

Symmetric, strongly indefinite equations and eigenvalue problems occur in many applications of physics, such as the Anderson model, but also in the simulation of geophysical problems such as wave propagation in water or in optimization tasks with constraints. These lead to large scale symmetric but highly indefinite systems.  The focus here is on the construction of robust, storage-efficient and structure-preserving solvers.
