In this interactive full-day workshop you’ll gain a comprehensive insight into German work culture and learn how to communicate confidently and effectively in everyday professional life in Germany.

In the International Career Service workshop, we will focus on the following topics: 

  • The values of German work culture (e.g., punctuality, planning reliability, a rules-based approach and an error-management culture) 
  • Communication in the workplace (direct, task-focused dialogue, non-verbal signals, email etiquette, communication styles in meetings) 
  • Work organisation and decision-making processes (hierarchies, roles and responsibilities, meeting structures, decision-making procedures) 
  • Intercultural conflict resolution (recognising typical conflict situations, developing resolution strategies) 
  • And much more!
