In teaching we focus on processes, feedbacks and interactions in the complex system of the atmosphere-biosphere-hydrosphere-lithosphere. This is to provide a training to think outside the box as a base for improved system understanding, assessment and management. Main focus is on the variability of the earth's system in time, the effects of anthropogenic impacts and possible future developments.
