Trace substance and element analysis

Agilent ICP-MS 8900 Triple Quad

ICP-MS

Determines the elemental and isotopic composition of samples by ionising them in a plasma, selectively separating the ions in two successive mass filters, and thus enabling extremely sensitive and low-interference trace analyses.

Elemental Scientific Automated Seawater Analyzer

Seawater Analyzer

Automatically measures the concentrations of dissolved nutrients or trace elements in seawater samples by performing chemical analyses and colour reactions sequentially and reproducibly.

Spectro Arcos ICP-OES FHS 12

ICP OES

Determines the elemental composition of a sample by atomising it in a plasma and then performing spectral analysis of the characteristic radiation emitted by the excited atoms.

Agilent Cary 630 FTIR Spectrometer (ATR-Modul)

FTIR

Measures the infrared absorption of samples to determine their chemical composition and molecular structures based on characteristic vibrations of the chemical bonds.

Metrohm IC 761 Compact

Ionenchromatographie

An ion chromatograph used to determine and quantify anions, cations and organic acids in liquid samples.

Picarro Cavity Ringdown Spectrometer L2130-i

Picarro Cavity Ringdown Spectroscopy

Measures the isotopic composition of water vapour (e.g. 18O/16O and 2H/1H) by analysing the absorption times of laser light in an optical resonance chamber.

Picarro Cavity Ringdown zubehör

HEKAtech Euro EA 3000 (CNS)

CNS

An elemental analyser that determines the carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and sulphur (CHNS) content in samples by completely burning them and quantitatively detecting the resulting gases.

SHIMADZU TOC-Analyzer-L + TNM-L (Nitrogen) Measuring Unit

TOC & TN Analyzer

Determines the total organic carbon (TOC) and total nitrogen (TN) content in aqueous samples by oxidising the carbon to CO₂ and the nitrogen to NO through combustion, and then detecting both gases.

Carbolite Gero CWF 1200

Carbolite Gero

A laboratory chamber furnace that can heat samples and is therefore used for thermal processes such as annealing samples to determine their organic carbon content.

Dimatec Dimatoc

Dimatec Dimatoc

An analyser that determines the total organic carbon (TOC) content and related parameters such as TIC, DOC and bound nitrogen in water or aqueous samples by means of catalytic oxidation and NDIR detection.

Agilent HPLC 1200 Series

HPLC

A high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system that passes liquid samples through a chromatographic column in order to detect the substances they contain separately and analyse them quantitatively and qualitatively.

In Situ Aqua Troll 500 Multiparameter probe

In Situ Aqua troll 500

A water quality probe that simultaneously measures parameters such as temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH and turbidity.

Perkin Elmer UV/VIS Spectrometer Lambda 25

Perkin Elmer UV/VIS

Measures how strongly a sample absorbs ultraviolet and visible light to determine its chemical properties and concentrations.

[Translate to English:] Perkin Elmer Luminescence Spectrometer 55

Perkin Elmer LS55

Measures the fluorescence or luminescence emitted by a sample to determine its chemical composition, concentration and dynamic properties.
