Family friendliness is a special concern for us at the Technische Universität Braunschweig and that is why we welcome every child born to student and employee parents from 1 September 2014 in a very special way:
Our "Baby Bag" contains lots of useful information about offers at our university as well as a lion-strong companion for newborn children.
On presentation of the birth certificate and, in the case of students, also the matriculation card, all new parents can pick up a "Baby Bag" for their child at the Family Office. Please do not send us any documents in advance, a brief presentation at the personal appointment is sufficient.
You didn't have time to drop by the university during the first months of your child's life? No problem, the entitlement to the "Baby Bag" does not expire!

Please note: Due to the pandemic, Baby Bags are currently not presented in the Family Office, but a handover can take place outside on the "Forumsplatz" (by appointment).
All interested parties can purchase the TU Lion at the Haus der Wissenschaft, Zentralstelle für Weiterbildung (https://www.tu-braunschweig.de/zfw/tagungsbedarf-und-merchandising/2).

The Family Office, in cooperation with the TUBS and Family Association, invites you to a welcome talk with the presentation of the "Baby Bag" by the President. In a relaxed atmosphere with drinks and nibbles, experiences will be exchanged, contacts made with other mothers and fathers at our university and some impulses given for further family-friendly improvements at TU Braunschweig.
