What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

The daily coffee in the cafeteria in the Audimax with Gisela and her colleagues after eating in the Mensa. Favorite place: Definitely the drawing room on the 6th floor in BS4 (now part of the Computer Center).

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

Just the right mix of historical roots and contemporary orientation.

Describe the time of your studies in 3 words:

  • Learned
  • for
  • life.

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

The acquired sense of form, proportion, and design; creative thought processes

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

I am - almost on a daily basis.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

  1. Be passionate about your field.
  2. Work should also be enjoyable (at least occasionally).
  3. Care for a boomer motto? No pain, no gain.

In one sentence - In the future I wish the TU Braunschweig:

A good overview for sustainable development in every respect.
