A name that says it all, a band with a mission and, overall, a captivating experience. Their sounds are poppy, somewhat punk, but also somewhat cabaret-esque – let yourself be surprised. Their lyrics deal with abysses, life, the utopia of a smashed patriarchy and, in the end, always about love... or rather sex. No matter how, no matter where, the main thing is that it's colourful, a little bit evil and always with a touch of irony, the three singers, a bassist and a charming drummer are on their way to independent pop heaven.
The four-piece band ‘WER’ from Hildesheim moves stylistically between post-punk, art rock and noise with energetic German vocals. Driven by the frenzied noise and incomprehensible chaos of our times, they experiment to create their own musical language: fast and loud – inscrutable. And yet tangible and very close, warming to overwhelming for body and soul, especially on and in front of the stage.
