As a mobile lab on wheels, the LeoVan brings exciting university experiments directly into the classroom. Guided by staff instructors, students can explore scientific concepts and experience curriculum topics through hands-on, interactive activities. Participation is free of charge.
The LeoVan provides everything needed: exciting experiments, trained staff, and plenty of fun, without additional organisational effort for schools. Schools benefit from an accessible, curriculum-aligned programme that combines scientific learning with hands-on experience. At the same time, TU Braunschweig showcases current research and inspires early interest in STEM degree programmes.
The LeoVan can be booked via an online booking platform for visits at schools, youth centres and other regional educational institutions. A range of experiments and time slots are available, with sessions lasting up to 90 minutes (two school periods). Bookings can only be made by teachers or school staff.
