Each year, TU Braunschweig surveys alumni who completed their degrees one to two years earlier. The survey gathers insights into their experiences at TU Braunschweig, their satisfaction with course content and their degree programme, and also examines their career paths and current whereabouts.
Since 2024, this survey has been conducted as part of the Graduate Studies cooperation project (KOAB) in partnership with ISTAT (Institute for Applied Statistics GmbH, Kassel). KOAB comprises a network of around 80 universities, enabling direct comparisons of TU Braunschweig’s results with those of other participating institutions.
The findings provide insights into career entry and transitions to master’s or doctoral programmes. They also include data on career success, such as job search duration, salary, contract type, and alignment between degree and career, as well as graduates’ evaluations of study conditions and programme content.
The survey of the Class of 2023 graduates at TU Braunschweig has been completed. All graduates who successfully sat their final examinations between 1 October 2022 and 30 September 2023 were invited to participate.
The survey data are currently being processed and statistically analysed by the Institute for Applied Statistics (ISTAT) in Kassel. The university-wide results will be published on this page as soon as they become available.
