Excellent academic supervision

TU Braunschweig has signed student exchange agreements with several US and Canadian universities. In these programmes, you pay no tuition fees or only greatly reduced fees. All partner universities provide excellent supervision and very good research opportunities.

Language and aptitude tests

You will need the TOEFL test or a language certificate from the Language Centre for your application. Some Master's programmes also require the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) or the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test). These aptitude tests assess general study ability with tasks from the areas of general knowledge, logic, text comprehension and maths.

To prepare for your stay at a US partner university, we recommend participating in the Language Centre's Intercultural Partner Project (IPP). In the IPP, you will form a language tandem with a tandem partner from the US and, upon successful completion, receive a certificate of participation and 4 credits (ECTS) in English.
