Sports Games Rental

[Translate to English:]

Would you like to do something with your fellow students in your free time during your study break or after university and be active together in a fun way? Then the new Sports Games Rental is just the thing for you.

Borrow

Would you like to borrow one or more sports games?

Then please get in touch with us (chiara.kiefert@tu-braunschweig.de).

The following sports games await you:

Sportarten

Racket Sport

Badminton

Badminton can be played by two or four players. Rackets are used to move the shuttlecock back and forth between the two courts and teams. The aim of the game is to hit the shuttlecock so that the opposing team does not hit it.

You could also play the less competitive version, in which the aim of the game is to hit the shuttlecock back and forth between the people as often as possible without it touching the ground.

Beach Paddle

Beach paddle can be played both on land and in the water. With the two rackets and balls, you can play this backstroke game however you like.

Indiaca Tennis

Wind is no problem with Indiaca tennis, so you can play in pairs on a windy day in the park. There are no fixed rules, so you can decide for yourself what you want to do with the two rackets and the ball.

Ball Games

Boccia

Boccia is played in two teams, which can consist of one to three people. The aim is to place your own ball as close as possible to the smaller target ball or to shoot the opposing team's ball away.

Juggling Balls

Use the juggling balls to learn to juggle alone or with others.

Spikeball

Spikeball is played in two teams, with a small net in the middle of the two teams onto which the spikeball is hit. After three touches, the ball must touch the net again at the latest. Spikeball is a very dynamic game.

Slow Motion Ball

The slow motion ball flies through the air more slowly than a normal ball. This makes it easier to catch the ball. The slow motion ball can also be used as a practice ball for handball or basketball.

Throwing Games

Diabolo Beach

Diabolo Beach requires skill and concentration. It consists of a diabolo (two half-shells in the shape of an hourglass) and a string that is attached to two poles. With the help of the rope, you can move the diabolo on the string and even practise tricks.

Croquet

You can play croquet with up to four people. You put together your own croquet course. Once you have set it up, everyone gets a mallet and a ball in the same color. Now everyone has to move their ball through the goals in the exact order. The first person to reach the finish line wins.

Mölkky

Mölkky is a throwing game that originated in Finland and is reminiscent of skittles. You can play Mölkky in two teams or individually. The game is played by setting up 12 numbered sticks. Using the throwing stick (Mölkky), the game pieces are thrown by the participants one after the other. The first person or team to have exactly 50 points wins.

Wobble Tower

We have a giant version of the wobble tower, which is about one meter high. Once the tower has been built, the dice is rolled a wooden block in the color that was rolled is pulled out of the tower and placed back on top. The game continues until the tower falls over.

Viking Chess

Viking chess is played in two teams. In the game, the various pieces of the opposing team are knocked over with the throwing sticks in a certain order. The team that knocks over the opposing team's king first wins.

Fitness

Hula Hoop

You can use the hula hoop as usual, or you can try something new, such as practicing tricks.

Fitness Hoop

The fitness hoop is like a weighted hula hoop with foam padding. It is ideal for training your core or for improving fitness and flexibility.

Skipping Rope

You can use the skipping rope as usual to improve your condition or try something new, such as Jump Rope Jacks or Mummy Kicks.
