The training program "Translational Research & Medicine: From Idea to Product" - the TRAIN Academy - teaches all this and more.
Exciting topics, excellent lecturers and the exchange with proven experts turn the training course into a pioneer of translational qualification in Lower Saxony and beyond.
Our participants gain a comprehensive insight into the various phases and areas of translational health research.
Over a period of two years, scientists, physicians and participants from industry and public authorities learn to systematically evaluate the potential of new medical procedures or products for medical application and commercialization. They gain an overview of the necessary steps and measures to get from an idea to a product and can efficiently lead projects to success.
Legal framework conditions and the basics of quality management are considered as well as the various product groups and sub-areas of product development. Seminars on methodological skills complement the range of this training.
The program is aimed at scientists with doctoral degree, but doctoral students in the natural sciences who are about to complete their doctoral thesis can also benefit from participating in the training.
