As part of the joint collaborative project Co³Learn (Communication, Cooperation, Collaboration), the Technical University of Braunschweig, Leibniz University Hannover, and Georg-August University of Göttingen are developing a digital toolbox for collaborative learning and the development of educational content. The project runs from August 1, 2021, to July 31, 2024, with an extension through December 31, 2025, and is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education.
Mission of Co³Learn – Communication, Cooperation, Collaboration
The mission of this collaborative project is to promote cooperative processes in teaching and learning across the various spaces within universities. Pathways to cooperation are created through the selection and provision of tools and digital applications. These enable collaboration among learners and offer appropriate solutions for personal development, creativity, and individual life circumstances. The selection and testing of these solutions take place through a joint innovation process involving both faculty and students. Using specific frameworks and feedback loops, project staff evaluate the tools, which are then made available across disciplines and fields. These tools allow students to focus on cooperative and collaborative work addressing societal challenges.
The result of the project is a digital resource center for students and faculty at universities, featuring a selection of tools for collaborative work. In addition to the tools, the resource center also offers guidance on how to use them in various teaching formats and in informal learning settings that involve collaborative work.
